Shree Antu is a small town in Ilam, eastern Nepal close to the Indian border. It is a paradise tourist destination famous for agro tourism, beautiful scenery, spectacular sunrises, tea plantations, pine forests, a soothing lake, beautiful gardens and breath-taking mountain vistas, including one of the world's highest mountains, Kangchenjunga.

3. Hike to Gufa Patal

Visiting Antu is incomplete without seeing the sunrise from the Shree Antu view point.  The marvelous golden sunrise above the world's third highest mountain is indescribable in words and will be one to remember a lifetime. One of the best romantic spots to start your early morning and have an unforgettable moment together with your partner. After the light spreads, the mesmerizing view of tea gardens and forest is waiting to calm you after seeing the golden sunrise. To see the beautiful sunrise of Sree Antu , take a ride of about 20 minutes from your Shree Antu homestay place around 5 am and hike about 20-30 minutes to reach Antu Danda.

5. Stay with locals at Shree Antu Community Homestay

Shree Antu is the home of various indigenous ethnic groups in Nepal, especially the Lepcha tribe.
