We're proud to share that our CEO, Aayusha Prasain, represented Community Homestay Network and the incredible communities we work with across Nepal at the ICRT Global Summit and Global Responsible Tourism Awards, held on 3 November in London.
Being shortlisted alongside changemakers from around the world was a proud moment for our entire team — and a powerful reminder to keep building tourism models that truly understand and respect the destinations they touch.
Aayusha also joined the panel discussion "Creating Shared Value," alongside Matt Callaghan (COO, easyJet Holidays) and Jane Fox (Foxes Safari Camps), moderated by Adama Bah (ICRT West Africa). The conversation brought together diverse voices — from large-scale travel operators to community-based safari camps and homestay networks — exploring how the tourism industry can create real, shared value for the people and places at its heart.
For Community Homestay Network, this was more than a summit appearance. It was a chance to carry Nepal's community-led tourism model onto a global platform and connect with fellow leaders shaping the future of responsible travel.
📺 The Global Responsible Tourism Awards were streamed live, celebrating changemakers from around the world.
