Participated as researcher for research “Community as Catalyst : Local Entrepreneurship and Market Connectivity in Responsible Tourism” at the forum. Bringing a practitioner’s lens - shaped by grassroots experiences - and representing the Community Homestay Network.
Who doesn’t love fresh ideas, shifting perspectives and being surrounded by inspiring conversations? This weekend at the TTRA Asia Pacific Annual Conference 2025 was exactly that.
It was both exciting and an honor to share our (Sazza KC, James Maharjan) research “Community as Catalyst : Local Entrepreneurship and Market Connectivity in Responsible Tourism” at the forum. Bringing a practitioner’s lens - shaped by grassroots experiences - and representing the Community Homestay Network - made the moment even more rewarding.
We are grateful to have learned from scholars from Nepal and beyond, whose research and perspectives added depth to our understanding of regenerative tourism and broadened the conversations we continue to carry forward.
