Take a public bus or hire a taxi to Kirtipur, which is approximately 5 km southwest of Kathmandu. The drive takes around 20–30 minutes.

Buses frequently run from Ratnapark (Old Bus Park) to Kirtipur. Get off near the town centre and follow directions to the workshop.
Walking from Kirtipur Town Center:
The workshop is within a short distance from Kirtipur's main square. Local signage or a quick inquiry will help you reach the location.

Most of the hosts do speak little to basic English but they do have at least one member in the family who can communicate with good English for ease of interaction.
