Your tea-picking adventure begins with your host family, who will welcome you into their homestay. You'll receive a bamboo basket to collect the tender tea leaves, guided by locals who will share their knowledge about tea farming and its importance to the community. As you engage in this time-honoured tradition, you'll learn about the intricacies of tea production and its cultural significance.
Feel free to don traditional attire for an authentic experience while you pick. The serene surroundings and fresh air make this a memorable way to immerse yourself in local life. Note that this delightful experience is not available from mid-November to mid-April.
