From Kathmandu: 30 km via Araniko Hwy to Bhaktapur, then Nagarkot Road. 1-1.5 hours by taxi. Public bus via Bhaktapur transfer.

By Air:

No direct flights to Nagarkot. Fly into Kathmandu's Tribhuvan Airport, then taxi (~1.5 hours) to Nagarkot.
