To reach Sanga, the hike's starting point, you can drive from Kathmandu, which is about 25 kilometres (approximately 1-1.5 hours) away by car or local transport. The drive offers scenic views of the surrounding hills and rural landscapes.

Returning from Panauti to Kathmandu is about 32 kilometres, and you can hire a private vehicle or take local buses. The drive takes around 1-1.5 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions. Be sure to coordinate transportation in advance, as it's not included in the itinerary.

Is there Wi-Fi available?

Yes, Wi-Fi is available in almost every house.

Does the homestay provide drinking water?

Yes, your hosts will provide boiled water, which is safe to drink. We encourage guests to opt for boiled water instead of plastic bottles to help protect the environment.

Are there Western toilets available?

There is a mix of squat and western washroom facilities within homestays. If you need a western washroom, please let us know when booking; we can allocate it if it is available.

Do my hosts speak English?

Most of the hosts speak little to basic English, but they do have at least one member in the family who can communicate in good English for ease of interaction.

Are there any animals? I’m allergic to cats/dogs/etc.
